How to Make a Sticker From Any Photo (Free, Transparent PNG)

Make a sticker from a photo for free: remove the background and get a die-cut transparent PNG for chats, Notion or print-on-demand. Nothing uploaded.

A photo turned into a cut-out sticker on a transparent background

A sticker is really just a subject cut out from its background and saved as a transparent PNG. Once you have that, you can drop it into WhatsApp or Telegram stickers, Notion, a video edit, or send it to a print-on-demand sticker service. Here's how to turn any photo into a sticker for free, in your browser.

How to make the sticker

Step 1 — Open Skrubly's AI Background Remover and drop in your photo.
Step 2 — The AI cuts out the subject and removes the background, leaving it on transparency.
Step 3 — Download the transparent PNG. That's your die-cut sticker, ready to use anywhere.

What to do with your sticker PNG

Chat stickers: add it as a custom sticker in WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal.
Design: drop it into Canva, a thumbnail, or a slide with no white box around it.
Print-on-demand: upload the transparent PNG to a sticker printing service for die-cut vinyl stickers.

Free, and your photo stays private

Because it runs in your browser, it's free and unlimited with no watermark — and your photo is never uploaded. If your sticker is of a person or something personal, that privacy actually matters.
